Healthy people? Well, it's not like it's "raining organs" for people on a waiting list. Many of them will die waiting. There must be someone on a slight better shape and willing to take a chance.

Not sure about that aspect either. They invested a boatload of money into a guy that can't even make a 1-year follow-up. How are they supposed to observe the transplant long term?

To be honest, not sure why we spend so much resources on heart transplants. For the most part, the underlying condition that wrecked your old heart is probably still there. We should be putting more resources into preventative medicine.

Choosing a guy next to his deathbed is not the greatest PR move. People will associate the death to the transplant.

There's always a risk when creating cereal varieties to fit a specific purpose, as we haven't been adapted to them. It reminds me of the wheat hibridization that greatly improved wheat. It is suspected that it has a role to play i

This seems like a PR play. What's the end goal of these sanctions? Haven't seen them able to topple governments in Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, North Korea, etc. They are even less likely to work with Russia.

Very frightening to know that we still do not have a good grasp on causes, and are probably several decades away from being able to treat it. It's really a death sentence. I would probably choose a quick way out if I were ever diagnose

I don't think that's the main reason for the US to be opposing it though. American LNG is already allocated 100% at this time. Besides, you need very expensive port infrastructure as well to support it, not many EU ports have that

There's something I don't understand about the Russian actions. They knew sanctions were coming, they clearly prepared years ahead for this war, maybe since Crimea. They gathered enough reserves, and built closer ties with China.

You overestimate people. If there are buyers for dozens of shitcoins, not so unreasonable to think there would not be buyers for actual tangible assets.

I am not sure what the price of ruble has to do with the Moscow market. These days forex is pretty much traded 24/7. If they are pulling these cheap tricks, there's even more reason for uncertainties surrounding their currency.

There has been thousands of troops surrounding Ukraine since 2014? Has US intelligence been warning of an invasion since that year as well?

US intelligence has been warning of this invasion for weeks though. There was plenty of time to make your way out. Now it is a bit too late.

Not the reason though. Kosovo was not a part of NATO either. It's just that Russia is not Serbia.
