That's cute 30 pages a month for 5 bucks, you may be interested in ab testing depending on the study level of the students, university usually requires way more pages per month, but 15 bucks to get unlimited seems too high imo. (and un

It allows you to visualize your git repository in time, so that you can see the changed and created files and their interactions. A very nice project. https://gource.io/

I don't see how you could justify using not challenging work with ZPD? To be just out of the comfort zone, it should be just more challenging than the current student abilities. Can you explain their view?

I understand your point, but I still think it is bad from the point of view of language paradigms[1]. Iframes should have not been created in the first place.. You are changing the purpose of the language while it was not made for it. (yes

I'm not an expert on this but IMO, from a language point of view, HTML is a markup language, it 'must' have no logic or processing. It is there to structure the information not to dynamically change it. Nor even to display it

Il very curious of that.. My mean training with ~25-30 high quality cameras takes around 20 minutes and some Gb of memory on a single GPU, what is the size of your large scale scenes? I see many possible optimizations to lower that number o

I teach my students to make a tree of the promising optimizations and suboptimization (it can be rough), keep track of each interesting optimizations, then implement the branch that seems the more promising and at each step use the profiler

In a more philosophical matter, why there need to be a why? Does the full universe need to be causal? Are we biased to think that there always must be a why? In Feynman lectures there is a very nice way of describing what is energy, if you

A rough idea and simplification: Suppose you have a bunch of 2D points, without coordinates, they exist because you say so, they can represent anything you want. But you can't do a lot with those points, you may be interested in knowin

I like the idea of having automatic code creation from papers, but I’m scared of it. Suppose you get a paper, you automatically implement the code, and then modify it a bit with a novel idea, and publish your paper. Then somebody else does

I really love this! I had a similar idea, but on the software design space. Now the trend is to design softwares where the interface is not editable anymore, long time ago it was fun to tweak programs so that they look like what we want, ch

I'm curious, I don't get why the down votes? Having to race for publishing pushes people to cheat, It didn't occur to me that it was a bad point, but if you have a different opinion I would gladly hear!

I was teaching python long ago to very beginners in programming. Honestly, the language became kinda harsh for newcomers, what we see as developpers is 'it's like pseudocode that runs'. But a beginner is often left behind the
