This is spot on. I've employed 2 people in the last year and I can say that the guy with a CS degree had heard of binary tree and big O notation but has no idea about how everything ties together. And CSS and HTML concepts are totally

The best tool ever. I'd still be using it if Chrome didn't copy it and make it better. It's probably why Chrome took off so well. I even used Firebug lite in IE at some stage in mid 2000's to troubleshoot stuff in it.

I haven't. I like Angular because it's easy to integrate with DRF and the templating language is very similar to Django's, so it was fast for me to pick up. This is v1. I haven't tried Angular v2 though. I tend to stay a

Installing from GitHub is a pain and if you upgrade packages and freeze into requirements.txt you can't tell which versions you've overwritten. You can easily stuff this up with a deploy script.
