Call human existence "wasteful" is the epitome of hubris and incredibly dehumanizing. Shows what's on the mind of many Silicon Valley exec types.

Agreed. LibreOffice's sane WIMP interface is a feature, not a bug, when the alternative is to use those horrid ribbon-like interfaces.

According to TFA, the company is identified as a SA; this could be an identifier for a société anonyme (SA) (in French) or sociedad anónima (SA) (in Spanish), which is the equivalent of a share corporation. The acronym is also valid for

I had to put a window above the page on top of that blinking cursor in the header so I could read the text. It was extremely annoying, to put it mildly. Then I saw the footer, with other blinking cursor and a scrolling line thrown in for go

My current phone is a (Xiaomi) POCO M4 Pro. It has both an IR port and a 3.5mm jack. It's a great device, although it doesn't support 5G. Sometimes, when the remote is too far, I control my TV with it.

I'm not implying at all that every game company should develop their own in-house engine. But maybe, just maybe, they could request Epic or Unity to optimize their engines better for the lower end.

I fail to see how my comment could be construed as being pro-monopoly. There are a huge number of onboard GPUs being left out of even minimum requirements for most recent games. I'm just saying that maybe this situation could led game

I submit most people had better luck than you and stayed silent. The fringe cases are the most vocal ones in their complaints. Of course, this is not implying that your experience is not true or less valid.

fvwm is still one of the default graphical environments in Slackware (even in -current), and fvwm95 came packaged for some time, too. Now fvwm95 is no longer part of the basic Slackware distribution but there's a SlackBuild for it: ht
