Isn't this true of any greenfield project? with or without generative models. The first few days are amazingly productive. and then features and fixes get slower and slower. And you get to see how good an engineer you really are, as yo

I think the blender secret sauce is their artistic projects. Put a bunch of artists in the same room as the developers and have them produce a work. It ferments this amazing combination of aggressive QA testing(the artists) and top tier tec

It is probably obvious, so obvious that no one starts with it? but it took me an absurdly long time to put together that an airplane lifts by moving air down. Admittedly there is an amazing amount of fluid-dynamic subtly on top of this simp

A question for the mech engineers: why the back and forth wobble? My first thought when I saw that mechanism was "that sounds harder than it should be. Wouldn't a spinning 6 sided mirror work better?"

You invert the problem. People want to build store and forward systems because that is their mental model of the problem. store and forward system are fine, and there are many advantages to them, but direct request systems scale much better

Perhaps, I don't really program much c/c++. but in my experience most of the subsequent errors are due to the first error. So even where there might be several places I could fix the code my standard operating practice is to find

By definition no support protects you from a zero day attack, A one day attack? sure if the supporting org is on their toes. Most of the time it will be weeks to months. if it is patched at all.
