I wonder if it's better for people with epilepsy to have a simple and more robust solution by getting a monitor that has low refresh rate or limited colors than to try to police all the internet and applications from ever showing flash

Took me 4 minutes to solve it. A few issues: - It's not clear that you can drag the characters. - Tried to scroll and thought something was wrong when it wasn't working. - Looks like you can also drag the main map image at least o

I have nightmares about doing rm -rf * in my home dir. With this it's a bit better, but you could still do rm -rf .* in your home dir and lose your hidden .trash dir too.

Agreed. I typically copy whatever text and paste it in the address bar and copy it again to lose the formatting. It also loses any line breaks but still worth it.

What really bothers me is when someone copy and pastes something they've written in MS Word into their email and turning the email into HTML without even noticing. What's even worse is when people bump up the font size of the enti

Firefox is great, I've been using it for the past few months. It required some customization, yes even to the source code to get it to my liking. For example you can't override CMD+P or use CMD+Shift+C to toggle the dev console so

The more we fear decentralization the more powerful entities (monopolies?) like Google will become. I’m ok with a non-zero risk of my domain being pulled from under me if I know I’m furthering the cause of a free internet.

I like the .so TLD. If enough people keep using it I don't see how that would still make people nervous. It's a nice sounding TLD and if people have a problem with Somalia they shouldn't take it out on an innocent suffix.
