funny enough after posting this I went to gmail after a long time of not using it to see what its like. Got prompted to upgrade to a new UI early. I said yes and most of the inbox features I used are there. Just not as nice looking. So now

I highly recommend the new amazon linux workspaces: https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/new-amazon-linux-workspaces... You get a full virtual/remote Linux Desktop that works really well. I even access and use it

I used it for a few month and it was fantastic. It works great. You have zero reason not use it if fit for your usage and budget

I really would like to see Dart succeed but I am not quite sure how it is positioning itself versus the Typescript and Modern JS Any big companies using it? Are we likely to see more developers supporting it? Opinions appreciated.

must admit I switched to Safari from chrome a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier. I have too many tabs open all the time using safari impacts my life in a negative way less :-) Also swipe works :-)

i use iterm2 and neovim. Is it worth using/adding tmux for local development? As Iterm2 has split panels and some level of saving your session and neovim built in termnial I feel tmux may not be needed for local development or am I mis

I really have no idea why react is so popular with such a silly license. I agree with this move. There are plenty of OSS projects out there without patent thing attached to its license so no reason to use react.
