Funny enough, solving this requires thinking abstractly.

Is this a Unity game? I built something similar (way worse I'm sure) based on the Space game tutorial: https://unity3d.com/learn/tutorials/projects/space-shooter-t...

Unions were added in TS 1.4, over a year ago. https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/typescript/2015/01/16/annou...

async/await isn't in TypeScript yet, if that's what you were implying. It will be though (and obviously is part of babel if you choose the right pieces).

So you're taking your ball and going home? LOL. Nana nana boo boo!

If it's TypeScript versus pure JavaScript (not versus Babel), there's a transpile time hit you must consider.

    That was interesting, thank you.

I agree with you for the most part. I'd just like to point out, since I also consider my family lower-middle class, that most lower-middle class families have no money whatsoever for college. Most of us in that situation took loans.

Does being uneducated hurt your career options? Do you go around telling people that it does? What about being ugly, does that hurt your dating options? Like being fat, both are things you can improve/fix with enough work.

    > really scary This is really scary to you? I get that you can do fingerprints, and honestly there's a LOT more than just browser window position/size in them, but "really scary"? Maybe we need to stop exaggerating o

Is this a real problem you're seeing today? There are lots of jobs out there. Go find one with a good manager.

Agreed. But it's not an either-or. Interfaces are a TypeScript thing, not an ES6 thing. TypeScript is (or tries to be) ES6/ES2015 plus interfaces/types. If you want types use TypeScript.

You can certainly "find references" and "jump to declaration" in VS Code. Great support for this in TypeScript especially.
