Yes, you can see the style guide here. https://docs.racket-lang.org/style/Choosing_the_Right_Constr... The reasoning is that `define` doesn't increate horisontal indentation.

Try `racket-mode` for Emacs. It has many of the features that DrRacket has. https://github.com/greghendershott/racket-mode/blob/master/R...

Well, Racket CS is "just" standard Racket running on Chez Scheme instead of the old Racket VM. Therefore no changes has been made to Racket (the language) - and thus there is no R7RS compatibility (which wasn't and still isn&

No. Racket CS depends on many features of Chez Scheme not in R7RS.

That's a different concern. Racket supports both immutable and mutable cons cells. Convenient or not - you decide. Oh, been watching too much YouTube. In both Racket and Scheme it is usually a good idea to program in a functional style

Note that it is possible to implement SRFI-42 using `syntax-rules` - the only available macro system in R5RS.

I noticed that quote as well. Odd thing to call RnRS Scheme loosely specified. The RnRS spec is extremely well-written - and it even includes a semantics. Now "Scheme" used to mean "a Scheme like language" is of course l

This game reminds me of Super Cycle for the commodore 64, which also had an 6502. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FiebnDbq0w0 Are there any collections of source code for commercial games for the C64 ?

Greg Hendershott's `racket-mode` for Emacs is the best to work with Racket in Emacs. The reference manual is here: https://github.com/greghendershott/racket-mode/blob/master/R... It supports both `p

There is also immutable hash-tables available: http://docs.racket-lang.org/reference/hashtables.html (Just to be clear: there is of course also mutable hash tables available).
