When I needed an MRI, I called five different places and only one of them would actually tell me a price. All of the others said "we don't know the price until we submit the claim to insurance". Not sure if they were tellin

This is very appealing to me just because of the amount of bandwidth that is included. I currently serve 20TB/month of static assets for only $160 spread among Softlayer, Digital Ocean and Linode VPSs. If I can host my static assets

It makes sense to use on an iphone where typing is difficult, it doesn't make sense to touch any of those when i can type faster than reading those suggestions. That's obviously just my opinion.

I have a friend that has unusually sweaty hands and can never get the touch id on the iphone to work. Will that person be able to turn the laptop on?

Did you watch him typing an email and clicking the 'auto-suggested' words that were showing up? I do concede that there are some good uses for it though. When your hands are on the keyboard are you looking down at them to see wher

This is beyond laughable. I am genuinely so sad that they finally ruined the MBP. Watching him tap the auto-suggested words on the 'Touch Bar' is so sad. I have a 3 year old MBP and I was looking forward to upgrading it, but no

There is most likely a large portion of voters that are also voting 'against' Hillary. The only realistic vote against Hillary is unfortunately a vote for Trump.

I would be more concerned about security updates. Does Apple still publish security updates for those old versions or even for 10.10 since El Capitan has been out for a year?

It doesn't sound like you are accounting for the re-invested dividends which will put a 10 year investment well above that 50% return you mentioned. This quick site that I found says the DJIA is up 110% over the last 10 years if you r

Which instance type were you using when you experienced throttling? This is a documented "feature" on a few of the instances. They give you the ability to burst for a certain amount of time but you can't burst forever.

As the driver said in his comments, when he'd seen the system stop 1,000 times in the past he had a false sense of security that it was actually going to stop for him like it was supposed to.

My point is that if they DID provide an official AMI then they would possibly see even more adoption. I know for myself, I am going to go with the company that provides the best support on AWS, which at the moment is Ubuntu.

The release notes mention good support for running on AWS. I would love to see more distributions embrace building AMIs, or at the least provide good documentation to get it running. Ubuntu probably has the best support by building AMIs f
