While ES6 proxies are really nice, I came across this experiment (1) and their tests showed that ES6 proxies can be very bad at performance. I could reproduce the test case. Not sure whether this GraphQL client has some way to optimize. 1.

If you don't need to extract CSS that is imported in JS files (which I dislike anyway), you can just use the TypeScript compiler that will work with ES6 modules and transpire into as low as ES3. And it has 0 dependency. Unfortunately i

Contrary to others here, I would still suggest to stick with Erlang, but use Elixir's toolkit. You can use `mix`, `exunit`, release, etc... from Elixir, and they can handle your Erlang codes fine. You also have better integration with

It always bugs me that, with Absinthe, you have to define Ecto schema and GraphQL schema separately, when most of the time, they are very similar. Can Absinthe somehow figure out from Ecto?

I used to have this idea of a AI chat bot that would ask common questions such as name, address, dependencies, etc... and return a filled 1040 PDF. Turned out I spent more time writing codes to handle the PDF than focusing on the chat bot f

A slightly off topic question regarding the mxm (matrix times matrix), mxv (matrix times vector), and vxm (vector times matrix) functions. AFAIK, Postgres supports function overloading. With the new types of matrix and vector, would it be e

I can't say for others, but for me, Sublime was the quickest standalone editor that I can download, run, and open big files really fast. I haven't found the same speed with Atom or VSCode.

Yeah, I checked your package.json and checked OLED out slothking-online/diagram. The dependence on React is a stopper for me.

On a related note, can someone recommend a good modern library to build similar visual block editor? Blocky is good, but it shows its age. Preferably not depend on React.

One of the less-known behaviour (I'm reluctant to say "features") is that you can have some sort of virtual field in a table, that will execute a function when the field is accessed. This is due to the logic that PostgreSQL t

Not sure about the speed benchmark, but Stencil's build process could be improved. It takes more than 1s to build on file changes. Definitely not ideal for development. Vue.js PWA, on the other hand, rebuild quite fast. With that said,

Nice! The alias (or the lack thereof) is one thing that keeps me from using Formspree, as I don't want the email addresses to be exposed. One suggestion I have is to support aliases in CC and BCC fields as well. You already have the im

Heroku is fine for development. However, it does not work with hot code swapping. There are ways around it, and some people don't believe it's a gain. There is also https://github.com/hashrocket/gatling that

Now we wait for somebody to port PostGraphQL to Go. Tools like these are great. Having a single executable binary is even better.

There is also Cayley ( https://github.com/cayleygraph/cayley ) which supports more query languages, including GraphQL, and multiple backend stores.
