> Similarly, the nature of the trait system is such that impl blocks relevant to a particular method call can be found almost anywhere. For every trait method call, you get a dependency on the impl block that supplies the implementation,

In March 2020 l was glad about the oil price dropping to below $20, but very concerned about the state of the world.

I'm not saying it's impossible. I said "which have seen zero prosecutions in the US", i.e. to date. My estimated timeline at this point is 3 years.

I was also curious about the base64 encoding in the stack. I'm not knowledgeable in this area though so it was more for my own education than questioning the choices.

Cool, thanks for this. What about the extensions though? For me the point about pi is minimal base plus configurable extensions you choose.

Thanks, I'll check out Verse. I haven't seen anyone make the point about graphs before. FWIW PRQL allows defining named subqueries that can be reused, like J1 and J2 in your example.

Thank you. Started learning it last night and already up to a workable speed. I was getting frustrated with all the corrections I had to do when gliding on qwerty.

Thanks. I always like putting my ideas out there as I often get feedback on points I hadn't considered. On this leading to reporting being pushed more towards what people consider in the public interest, I would argue that's a goo

Great point and good idea. Maybe something like the Kickstarter model, where you commit to paying something and it only gets deducted if enough people commit? You'd probably still want to read it straight away rather than wait so you&#

This, so much this! I have the same issue with Google Sheets. Non-experts don't understand how much of an impediment this is. People need to watch a Shrekli video on YouTube to see how much some of us rely on the keyboard shortcuts. Yo

How are there real numbers real? They're certainly not physical in a finite universe with quantised fundamental fields. I would say that natural numbers are there only physically represented ones and everything else is convenience.

Haven't used Google Trends in years but from what I recall the trends are normalised, right? I wonder what base effect there is as a lot of search volume is being replaced by AI usage instead?

Yes, not everyone is allowed to use cloud services. There's also the cost. I haven't spent a cent on infrastructure in 5 years (other than my time). Using cloud services comes with extra costs and meetings to justify those costs.

For an SME with nonetheless critical workloads, 10000 containers is not small. To me that's massive in fact. I run less than 10 but I need those to be HA. uncloud sounds great for my use case.
