Also the hard part of being a software engineer has nothing to do with code lol. It's understanding requirements and building a system that works.

We use Kotlin with quarkus with no issues. I love it. We also compile with graalvm and deploy on AWS lambda. It's amazing honestly. But it's complicated. I wouldn't really suggest it unless it fits your use case.

It's good at it because OpenAI outsources the bad stuff to Kenya https://time.com/6247678/openai-chatgpt-kenya-workers/ People still have to look at this horrendous stuff.

Every person in my company uses a Mac (~100 people) and I think only one person uses only one monitor. Every employee gets a 34in LG and a laptop stand and every person (except the one) uses the laptop open to the side for extra stuff. I kn

Really unsure why I was downvoted for this. I posted a link to someone else in this thread that has actually talked to Slack employees, it's directly related to the comment I replied to.

Sadly they aren't going to implement some of my most used features from slack in ripcord so I stopped using it. Was ready to pay a ton of money to the dev as well.

I'll just go ahead and admit to shilling. Zulip is amazing and I tried to get my company to switch to it. The only thing that stopped us from switching is well, the fact that people have to switch. They have to learn another tool, and

Absolutely ridiculous that the Mac app requires Catalina. Especially for a _ticketing_ system. What if you are a company that makes 32bit apps? What a dumb restriction. When they released the beta for Jira for Mac it was before Catalina was
