Search for the discussion about rtags. It does something similar for emacs using libclang.

In the Twin Cites in Minnesota, USA https://www.metrotransit.org/fares-passes has rush hours surcharge for most buses and light rail as well as more expensive express buses.

rtags is also using libclang for parsing, fixits, etc. Here is a demo of rtags can do with a proper emacs setup: CppCon 2015: Atila Neves "Emacs as a C++ IDE" https://youtu.be/5FQwQ0QWBTU

Two comments: 1. Something between taxis and buses could theoretically be viable. 2. Many cities already have rush hour fees on public transportation (or equivalently discounts for off-peak passes) so some price differentiation in bus lines

There are some questionable statements like "Since the code gets directly combined to machine code, therefore, the binaries become portable." Compiling to machine code like C does not lead to portability. I thought Go programs can

Thanks for the update. I didn't know that the change was happening so fast. I left the US about 10 years ago but when back in California and Minnesota during last years I barely saw any roundabouts. I don't remember seeing a singl

Why would you suspect Romanians in particular in Iceland? Why not citizens from other European countries who as have relatively many road fatalities per capita? I am usually most worried about Americans since many have little experience wit

Thanks for your answers. If you feel up tackling my first question, I have tried to clarify it: I was referring to statistical variance of latencies listed in the blog post: 50% 95% 99% 99.9% 99.99% 66µs .5ms .5ms .5ms 1 ms More concretely

I have some related questions about the latency: 1. Where is the latency variance coming from? (Garbage collection? Network stack?) 2. Between which two points are you measuring it? 3. What would the variance look like if using two processi

Does this novelty driven research decline once tenure has been obtained? I would like tenured researchers to take on risks, long term projects and investigations that many companies will not, regardless they pursue novelty.

I almost signed at a software company working with interesting maintenance optimization for big machines, like trains or helicopters. Up until the final meeting with the CEO, I was promised that I could stay out of the military applications

This film is the flip side of some left leaning people saying Sweden is paradise because of more heavily subsidized child care, health care and public transportation. The film is heavy anecdotal stories and not much about statistics or econ

Our taxes should be democratically decided so they should not be extortion, at least not on average. But maybe they are not democratically decided. I know it isn't feasible for many people, due to things like family ties, but moving to

Nice site. It could do with some language processing like stemming so searches for "algorithm" and "algorithms" give the identical results.
