Udemy always seemed questionable with some of their course titles. Lots of 'How to make money easily doing X' and other extremely clickbait-y names. Now it's actually proven they don't give a shit what's happening o

Delete your account, create one with a different email address, and enjoy the reset. Did it a while ago on Facebook, and although I've re-added a good 75% of people on the new profile because I still like to socialise with them, having

Are any particular irc networks recommended for FOSS collaboration? I'm guessing channel and Nick services should probably be a prerequisite but other than that, where do people prefer to congregate?

With the the exception of autopilot steering towards an oncoming car, this is a terribly subjective argument. People need to understand that driving a car is a highly responsible activity. When the car systems explicitly tell you to be atte

Misleading title. YouTube will flag videos as private. They won't remove or delete them.

"I can’t sell access to my Mac via any kind of screen sharing." This one was interesting to me. I thought maybe macminicolo.net might fall foul of this, if they rented out a mac mini to you, but it looks like they instead make you

Well gosh what a negative nancy you are, summarising things up like that! Umair has, I feel, a completely valid point. Twitter is a big open service for snippets of comments. Anonymity is pretty good (excluding privileged access, e.g. law e

Oh believe me, I'm plenty mad at UK politicians :) But since our current government gained a majority while only actually taking around 37% of the vote, I'm pretty sure we're stuck between a rock and a hard place in actually

Shameful. Just shameful. I don't care how it gets sugar coated, if you claim to be working for the good of humanity (in facebooks case by connecting people together) and then you loophole yourself out of paying taxes, you are morally b

Does reddit have funding issues currently? I ask because subjectively I've started getting more and more "too busy" HTTP 503's while browsing, which hints at a lack of capacity but surely that could be scaled out fairly

Terrific little app. Very configurable targets for uploads, and remappable hotkeys. OSX has a bunch of good apps already out there, but this is probably one of the nicer ones for Windows.

All that talent at Facebook, and they use it to come up with creepier and more invasive ways of ad targeting. I could not help laughing at the quote about it being for "the greater good". Hot Fuzz flashbacks ahoy.

Where is this focus about Angular 2 sucking? The author is in fact happy about Angular 2 being a re-write. Read the section under Problem 6, where he calls the proposed complete re-write of Angular courageous and laudable. Now he says this

There's a wealth of options to control this. I prefer going with MP4 for various reasons except if the source is available as a 1440p 60fps file, which I think is Webm only right now. Mix and match to your hearts content!
