There's some wonderful lines in here, I particularly liked: Planning has never seemed to have much to do with the seething, fungal development of the Internet... And this one: Its ease of use will also improve, which is fine news, f

If you use a shared system then you are at the mercy of both (a) the expertise of whoever configures and maintains it, and (b) the behaviour of others on that shared system. Chances are high that it's poorly configured and maintained a

Sounds pretty interesting especially as my first computer was a stack-based B6500. Looks like it'll be five years before we have any idea whether it will fly or not, but then if you think back to RIRC or the history or ARM (or even Bi

My Linux server tutorial course site http://GREP101.com brings in $700 on a good month and $100 on a bad one. Simply a reflection of the fact that I don't have the necessary things in place to drive consistant traffic to th

I've only read one, but it was quite unlike anything I'd read before - old guy, depressing grind of a job, alcohol and rough women - but a rawness and authenticity that you don't often get. At the time I was very interested t

Well, what can be said that hasn't been said a million times before? One small thing that would be nice, give that we're stuck with passwords, is that if there could be broad agreement about what sites will accept as a password. C
