I highly doubt this is the strategy. There is somebody in charge of experience design in these organizations who is doing their very best to make the site easy to use. However, they are hampered by a confusing product selection (as mentione

Some people lean toward the hug as a greeting or farewell, especially women. As a woman who doesn't like hugs, it's very uncomfortable for me. I used to work at an agency, and sometimes we'd even end up hugging clients after

I took them for about 15 years (with a couple of little breaks), and they helped significantly the whole time. I went off them when I got pregnant (did CBT), and am still off 3 years later. I would love to go back on because the anxiety has

I would love this. I have to dress for two different climates on summer workdays - skirt/shorts and short sleeves for outside, jeans and sweater (plus a sweatshirt over it) for inside. It's absurd how overly air-conditioned office

Do You Realize? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06VX1QQHX/ref=oh_aui_d_de... It was only 99 cents, but I wasted at least a couple of hours on it, which is what really annoys me.

Last night I finally abandoned a book that was absolute trash, but had 83% 5-star reviews on Amazon. Looking at the reviews now, I see that most of them are written by people who only write 5-star reviews (it has an F-rating on Fakespot). F

It explains a lot around how the terms "racist" and "sexist" are now applied to a much larger (and more subtle) range of behaviors and speech.

Back-and-forth interactions are more important to language development than passive input. Both TV and phones do not provide the interaction that builds verbal skills.

Yes, I have friends who do this a lot and I just find it so unethical. The stores don't exist to lend you clothes, like they're your older sister's closet. There are costs associated with rent, labor, etc.

No, I easily supported a family of 3 on that in 2016 in the Seattle area. For a single guy, he'd be living well.

I am curious whether there was an equal effect for boys and girls. Most of the men I know are a lot less active on social media than women, but I'm not sure if this is also true for teenagers.

Even Value Village sends the stuff they can't sell (which is probably quite a bit) to these recyclers, who it seems now can't really use the materials.

I find it surprising they do all this math since the model they seem to use is "Send everybody tent-like shirts that would fit a horse." After repeated requests for more fitted styles, I kept getting tents (although eventually sma

Ha! Yes, of course. I get this all the time. Shocked reactions from people when I tell them our baby is in daycare. Sometimes it's more subtle and framed as "oh, it's too bad you can't afford to stay home with him,"

I'd be curious to know why so many search functions have trouble with St. Louis. I was recently trying to book a flight there, and often had to use the airport code to have it show up!
