I’d bet good money. The chips have been decapped and roughly analyzed, the only information going into or out of them is from the host systems. Those are easy to convince they are anywhere. Chips don’t have wifi or gps or radios of any k

MCP is just a protocol - how could it not remain open source? It's literally just JSON-RPC. Implementations are what are open source or not.

I wish everyone would read this paragraph: > But this leads me to my second point, which I must make as clearly and forcefully as I can. Vibe coding actually works. It creates robust, complex systems that work. You can tell yourself (as

Forcible illegal deportation is one. ICE grabbed a US citizen friend of mine and threw her on a bus and drove her hundreds of miles away and was about to toss her over the wall to Mexico last week. Civil asset forfeiture is another. Tax war

Way more convenient for the FAA702 users, too. If you have absolutely nothing in your documents that you wouldn’t mind giving the FBI to read without a warrant or probable cause, it is possible you are wasting your one and only life. A good

Excel has no competition whatsoever in the local software space. Google Sheets is somewhat useful for 80% of users but for people who must be on-prem/local it’s Excel or nothing. Someone really should Pixelmator Excel. That’s a viabl

I don’t spend anywhere near that. It resells for 60-80% when I replace it a year or two later. That offsets the cost drastically. Spending $700 per month on your work tools (where that represents 2-3% of revenue) is not unreasonable. My

It’s not $22k/year, as the hardware still has great resale value when it’s replaced in 14-18 months. It’s less than $8-10k/year when all is said and done. I pay more for my car+insurance.
