Nothing will change until and unless police start suffering severe consequences for breaking the law. Such consequences will never come from the state.

They’re comfortable saying this because the US doesn’t have the rule of law, as evidenced by laws not applying to police.

Secondhand smoke is toxic and physically damages your body and enters your bloodstream. Someone playing music is annoying and does not physically harm you in any way. These are not remotely the same thing. There is a clear bright line betw

Nah. The citywide meshtastic grids that exist presently operate on one single frequency citywide. If you shut off the internet and jam that frequency, nobody can talk to anyone else to coordinate about a new frequency (which is then also j

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0F7LD3BQG Meshtastic is the name. It works today. Many cities have them. They aren’t useful in antigovernment scenarios because they are trivial to jam and deny use of.

Nah, ICE is snatching and robbing US citizens too, even when they have ID on them. My (US citizen) friend got taken last month and driven hundreds of miles to another state simply for speaking spanish in public.

Doesn’t matter. The apps run on the OS, the latest hardware only runs the OS at the hardware release date and later. You’re getting the Fisher-Price UI whether you want it or not, even if the apps never change a thing.

It shouldn’t be, it’s factual. :( The partisan brawling in the USA is to me most tiresome mostly because neither of the factions seems particularly interested in the truth anymore.

44.1kHz sampling is sufficient to perfectly describe all analog waves with no frequency component above 22050Hz, which is substantially above human hearing. You can then upsample this band limited signal (0-22050Hz) to any sampling rate yo

CDs used 44.1, DAT and DVDs used 48. That’s it. Most stuff on the internet ripped from CD is 44.1. 48 is getting more common. We’re like smack in the middle of the 75 year transition period to 48kHz. For new projects, I use 48, because m
