Sorry, but if you did research on Bambu's and came away with them being open and hackable, you didn't do enough research. I dove into 3D printing a year ago. I settled on the P1S because its reputation for "just working"

Interesting you liked the ending of Season 2. About 1/3 of the way through, Lynch distanced himself from the series and stopped directing it. He stated that he caved to network pressure to resolve the murder early and combined with a

This is such an infuriating problem with these companies. Generative AIs hold promise, but they all rushed to inject these features, which are in its infancy, directly interfering with the user experience. In iOS, if you search in settings

You're arguing that software makes or breaks artistry, and it doesn't. Composition, subject, and lighting still get you 90% there. Software just comes in at post and it plays less of a role than the HN crowd thinks it does. Mayb

It's funny how when one guy does it for a small fork on a small project, people get riled up about it. However, when there's a bigger project like HomeAssistant, people let that behavior slide. As far as Darktable/Ansel goes

After hearing about Anki and FSRS, I'm trying to use Anki it for learning a new language. I'm a little frustrated and overwhelmed at the options. I'll look at a deck that says I have nothing to review, but I know I'm n

Interesting story but “At least half a dozen false alarms” out of 300k isn’t a “deluge.” Sure, lots of money spent to answer the false alarms but who knows how many lives were saved through the campaign.
