I'm not going to speak for OP, but I definitely remember it also being a rallying cry for Bluesky too. "No one person can control the network blah blah blah"

In vet med, case studies are still pretty important, but that's because vet med is in its infancy compared to human medicine. At least one case study, usually two, are required to be eligible to take boards. Future board renewals, I

I really don't know how to answer that. I've seemed to experience the peak worst of both. In waterfall, I was a young programmer in a big, disciplined, corporate environment and spent about 2/3 of my time doing documentation

As late as 2012-2015 it was still extremely cheap to get suits in HK, but I'm sure that's no longer the case. The last time I did it, I bought fabric for $60 USD at Joann's, flew to HK, and gave a guy the fabric for a suit.

His latest 1.1, 1 hour tutorial does. It's great - basic tinkering and explaining philosophy behind things. It really set you up to explore on your own to get you the remaining 20%. His previous ones were geared for making you an exp

I agree 100% Bluesky works because people are told "Go to Bluesky" and they hide the federation. When you're told go to Mastodon and pick mastodon.social or any of the hundreds of other servers, you've lost. For some r

At my most recent job, 2022-2025, I saw this under the guise of SAFE agile. Previously, no, you're right. I've always worked in aggressive engineering teams with Product and Engineering closely aligned. My last company, though,

There is a scene in the first season where they're all on a bus and Gilfoyle sees a middle aged woman on a bike waiting for a light. The soliloquy was so random and not even funny, but fit so well. That woman was basically every midd

I not only 100% believe this, but I'm not sure I'd be able to muster a snicker at it due to all the similarly ridiculous things I've experienced.

I hear you. After the first season, the tech and industry was just a backdrop, and I couldn't get into because the rest of it was pretty weak. I had the same feeling but the opposite outcome with Silicon Valley. Growing up in Palo Al

Apple has neglected the iTunes store for years. Yes, you can still buy tracks, but it's really crappy. 1) The catalog is nowhere near as extensive as Apple Music. 2) It's AAC 256kbps format only. Not lossless. Apple goes along

It's you people that's using the terms "colonizers." Of course it matters. Changing definitions willy nilly in the face of evidence is how authoritarianism starts. Very hypocritical of your kind.
