I wonder if someone could comment on the validity of the contract between the hospital and the victim of the enemas. For a contract to be valid both parties need consideration. Since the victim didn't consent to the enema or the other

My condolences. I have such aversion to Police types and I wish there was more local civilian control over police departments. If there is enough support here we should seriously consider what we can do to deter poor police behavior.

Retweet patterns would be quite interesting. Especially since retweets happen one of two ways. You retweet someone you follow or you retweet something happening in a trend. I wonder if you could separate those two.

Ever hear of adverse selection? If someone is trying to sell something to you, you must ask the question why are you unloading it.

Many parts of Africa are not politically stable enough to support this manufacturing. You should watch this Planet Money article to understand why Manufacturing (of T-Shirts in this case) move from one country to the next. http://

Well that's the downside. But honestly I'm not going to sympathize very much because over 80% of my friends have iPhones and I am already biased to sending messages to them because iMessage and Photostream are such good products.

Photostream is really the end game for what sharing photos should be. You serve it on space that you rent privately from Apple. You have comments, likes, and filters. You can post photos of any size. Your social network is not being analyze

Just learned that it's dangerous to put a command prompt on a webpage because it took me about 0.2 seconds to hit ctrl+w 3 times and kill 3 tabs. I like it though.

Although I do not disagree with the perverse incentives of ratings agencies, you have to consider that certain funds are required to hold certain levels of investment grade products. Ignoring the reason why they have to do this, if the rati

Although sovereign credit ratings by the big Credit Rating Agencies do have a small impact on borrowing cost, their ratings should still be taken with a grain of salt. Take a look at this study by the New York Fed. http://www.new

Well GOOG added $36 billion dollars of market cap overnight. To put that into perspective that is 9 BBRYs (RIMM), 1.5 TSLA's, 1.5 LNKD's, or 0.5 UNP's (Union Pacific).

What's the difference between HFT and traditional Human Market Makers? May I suggest that Electronic trading and HFT have made it possible for a few people to do the work of thousands. This has brought down the cost of trading.

If they are designing something on an fpga that conforms to openGl they are never going to get the same performance that IC's get implementing the same specification. What's the point?

I am having trouble imagining what would cause a two foot arc within a server? I've never heard of this issue among other high performance server racks. What could the NSA be doing that is consistently causing this issue?
