FPGAs are impractical. They are designed for integration and custom design rather than performance. Any data processing tasks are probably not worth it. Intel i7 series CPUs are probably a better investment as they have native text-proce

I noticed. My last 4 posts have been a semi-trolling attempt to see how people react. It's a good indicator on if I can be bothered to read the comments in future.

Yes I have tried both, extensively. I use windows primarily, which pretty much eliminates Git. Git's architecture is a big turd as well. Mercurial is the closest contender but it's not there yet with tool support.

Personally I prefer the Acer. It allows me to: a) Not require the work to gain the remaining $1600 meaning more time with my family. b) Alternatively if it is from money surplus, it allows me to do more activities with my family. Plus does

And the point of OpenGL on the web would be? Does it really help convey information or enhance the user experience at all? Or perhaps it just more glitz which will be abused (like flash banner adverts)?

I've written an implementation of nested sets for at least 3 DB engines over the years (SQL Server, MySQL and PostgreSQL). Some of that article is plainly dangerous and I wouldn't recommend following it without some extensive research elsew

We keep their data and sign them into 4-8 year contracts. Very unethical and it will kill the company one day. Not that anyone gets listened to here unless they're a Harvard MBA.
