Sorry -- I really meant if there's anything that calls for new language constructs to be reasonably expressive (i.e. alternative being really awkward API calls). I found none.

Could you point to me something in that VM that cannot be equivalently implemented in C FFI for Lua?

Importing enum values into global/function/module local namespace has always been a PITA for javascript environments. Any suggestion on how to do this cleanly?

I took the course (Alex Smola's 10-701, Spring '15) in the classroom. Personally I don't like his lecture style -- too vague, too many assumptions, too much reliance on jargon he hasn't already explained. YMMV.

From my poor knowledge of music production, in that world "high end" equipment means "as close to truth as possible", not necessarily "pleasant to the ear". I wonder if the expensive set of equipment here measu

Extremely unlikely. GFW is, ironically, considered "critical infrastructure" and is closely monitored.

Around 2 years ago I wrote a patch for chjj/marked that supports MathJax. Despite heated discussion, author never noticed and it wasn't merged. Just a glance at how fragmented this markdown world has become.
