You can get an idea of this with their MP3 Cloud Player for Android. I keep a minimum of music on it for gaps in coverage and things I listen to very frequently, but it easily shifts to "cloud mode" and streams well on 4g/wifi.

I actually already have a beta account and have checked it out. It looks promising, but this is one of those political situations. I think AppHarbor will probably end up replacing AWS as our second platform though.

This is really interesting. I'm just getting started on a project with a lot of web front end that's targeted at Azure. I had been planning on using ASP.NET MVC with Razor, but I think node makes a lot more sense.

This is a really interesting question. I did some quick skimming over the docs there and even where there is conceptual overlap, the BCL wins in terms of feature breadth. It would be challenging to replace it, I think. My suspicion is that

Yeah, what are they doing to do, start some company focused on providing good commenting systems on websites? The fact that that comment appeared on a Disqus comment stream is icing on the cake.

Does anyone know by what metric it will be 1,000 faster? It seems like a technique for having massive numbers of cores in parallel, but I'm not sure how the adhesive would address any specific improvements to the cores themselves. That said

This made me wonder if they have addressed the main issue behind scenarios like that, which, in my experience, is the application of GPOs. I haven't actually had a win7 machine on a domain so I don't know, but I sure do have similar memorie

Wow, that is probably going to help a lot, thanks. I've been using VS since the 90s and I still feel like I don't know half of what it can do. I'm not sure how to fix this, but I am pretty sure the increasing tendency to release documentati

Syntactically LINQ is a breath of fresh air, but it's totally the opposite when it comes to debugging. Right now the experience of debugging a nested loop (which typically could be converted to some form of LINQ) is way better than if you l
