for the purposes of a conversation about loathing, i think you're presenting a false equivalence here. in such subjective terms it's hard not to admit that despite whatever flaws it may have, target has at least not had books written and mo

Sounds like we might work for the same news organization with a content sharing agreement with TC. I was appalled/not surprised at all when that happened.

Bittorrent isn't sequential, so it'd be tough to say with any certainty that you have established a buffer. I'm not sure if this is something that's recently changed or not though, I'm no expert either.

If the deployment ever grows to cover more of the site, this sounds like something that would be rife with abuse, and even though it doesn't sound like that's the plan, it's interesting to think about how you might want to solve that. One o

I would like to see a "profile" style portal which can be linked to any relevant Federal programs I am involved with, from Social Security to my tax burdens with the IRS. Primarily I would like this to be a single-service type situation whe

I thought BSD was a shoe-in for this as well, but if you view source you'll see the hallmarks of ASP.NET (viewstate and control naming), which throws me.

Tell me about it. Mine was $430 and I had a serious double take. On the up side, a decent chunk of my music was purchased with the gift cards you get from having an Apple Visa card.

Are deliveries still getting through despite the weather or something? I've heard this a couple of times and it confuses me. It seems like I'd be more likely to use Amazon if the weather was beautiful because I'd rather not spend those days

Lincoln was before Grant, obviously, but yes, that is the story. I'm not sure if it's apocryphal or what, but I believe it to be true.

It's my belief that the "how" is as important as the "what" when it comes to your business. If you don't put the same quality of thought into how you execute on your solution, your value proposition is that much harder to emphasize.

It looks like they've solved one of the biggest problems of the first model, which is the fact that the bottom corners are both acute, so there is no easy and comfortable way to hold it for long periods of time.

I have thought at times that allowing the definition of constructors in interfaces would go a long way towards solving this problem. It's much easier to manage dependencies with cleaner patterns when you don't have to define some ugly Confi
