I was thinking about this for a second. Specifically about saving on employees. I guess it is safe to assume on-board jobs don't have a bright future. Those are up for automation. So maintenance staff remains? But can't that be a

Didn't you mix up the goal and the result? As a fellow (though happy) SaaS owner I'm trying to imagine being in your shoes. My goal is spending my time on something (~a problem) that interests me and hearing that customers benefit

Wait, you are saying you get less than 6 hours for average use? Everytime there is a macOS vs Linux thread it is repeated that things are quite bad on Linux. I kind of accepted it as the major downside. I easily get 6h on my Ubuntu machine

Some help for anyone looking into DD-WRT. I use it on 2 routers (a dirt cheap TP-link and a higher end Netgear) for >3 years. Both have been stable and performant. No known issues. Things are definitely better than stock firmware. The ap

Related to Ubuntu's Unity (might apply to other environments): I remember last time I switched from Windows (~3 years ago) it was once again harsh on my eyes. The way things (fonts?) are rendered is just different. What made me survive

The Ubuntu XPS 13 has been on sale since early 2012. With 3 versions released in the last ~2 years. I guess, after almost 5 years, they are quite serious about it? Although the effort is shared with their Windows siblings.

In the Configurations section (where you see the first 4 models), you have to push Next until you are at the end of the list. The last 3 models mention Ubuntu (last 4 in the US).
