No, this is a shrewd defense against a witness saying in court "but the opposing lawyer didn't let me speak and only told me to answer their questions, that's why it's not in the deposition".

Most of the corporate IT leases employee hardware already and has 3-5 year laptop refresh cycles accounted for. I don't see how Windows 11 will affect anything in the big scheme of things for large enterprise IT procurement. But as far

Printer manufacturers figured out how to make their customers lives miserable long after the sale. Also, see what FTDI did: https://hackaday.com/2014/10/22/watch-that-windows-update-ft...

Ah, but 'dnf install' does also what 'apt-get update' does when necessary. So, dnf is faster for me than 'apt-get update && apt-get install'. I think there is a flag you can alias to force disable updat

DNF is actually faster for me than APT on Ubuntu. 700 packages can get updated on 100Mbps link in a few minutes. Large package updates took 5+ minutes on Ubuntu.

Python 3 (3.6) is available in the base repos for Ubuntu 18.04 and CentOS 7. Ubuntu 16.04 was EOLed in 2021-04 and CentOS 6 is EOL since 2020-12. Using anything older is plain insecure (unless you are paying for ESR contracts beyond the EOL

Actually, you can expect a recent version of Python 3 from most distros these days. Stdlib is quite powerful and no hurt would come from a small number of globally installed libs with stable APIs, like click and requests.

As I read it, "correct response or an error message" does not include "approximations". Your app either runs on it or fails with an error. I assume many apps use quite a limited set of T-SQL features when going through E
