I personally know someone who had a website seized by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for linking to copyright content. It all comes down to intent. When visiting a site like ThePirateBay or TorrentButler, it's clear

Is being an entrepreneur not a gamble? Is life not a gamble? Are relationships not a gamble? I'd say every decision someone makes has an element of gambling to it. The nature of gambling is picking something over something else and hop

With mobile providers in the US, if you don't use your "upgrade" you can keep using the service with no contract. If you accept their upgrade, an offer of getting a new phone at discount, you lock yourself in for another year

I was involved in a company that hosted and rented servers for video games. It grew really big, but shut down solely on the basis of, "these 12 year olds are going to drive us insane."

That's pretty much what I expected to hear. It's a good idea, but I don't think the execution is quite right.

There is no value in a thoughtless "enjoyed reading" or "nice read." If that's all someone has to say, I would recommend waiting until they have more to say. If they want to spend 5 minutes explaining their thought

It's redundant. An upvote says the same thing. Feedback needs substance, and without substance, it's just noise. People come here specifically because there isn't much noise. It all comes down to respect. Respect my time by p

You'd be lucky to get 1/50th of the advertised Gbps. Hackforums is where script kiddies go. It's just a bunch of unemployed kids trying to show off with software/code that they didn't make themselves, but they will

The US won't allow you to enter if there are pending criminal charges against you in your own country. You could lie on the paperwork and hope they don't check, but if they find out, you could be deported.

Up to 60 floors / 20,000 people in an apartment building? I didn't realize that existed. I don't think you'd find an apartment building in the US that has even a fraction of that. The largest hotel in New York is the Mar
