I like Castaneda's wording on meditation - stopping the world and not doing. Well, it's not actually on meditation but the outcomes are very similar... or could be. To perceive the world as it is and not as it's described to

Hmm, I didn't know that apps that use websockets needed a different kind of auto-scaling and monitoring. That's interesting. Thanks!

Thanks. I just wanted to make sure you don't put all white people in one basket, labeled privileged . So, by your definition there should be "white non-privileged people" as well, right? This means we shouldn't talk abo

Exactly my point. The technology is there (e.g. [1]) but not in watch form factor. It doesn't need to be, and nobody wants a med lab on his wrist. That's why the Watch is not a health device and saying it's the first step

You missed HealthKit. HealthKit is something that solves a real problem. Having all your health data stored in one place, that's something that makes sense. Apple Watch is Not a health device and I fall short of imagination seeing it a

So much marketing, so little time for people to get reasonable answers to questions such as: Why exactly do I need an overpriced watch that I need to charge every day and replace every few years? A watch which does much less than my phone

A crazy (or maybe not so much) theory: Bacteria. Some bacteria could cause sleep disorders (e.g. Tropheryma whipplei [1]) and this place could be favorable to this bacteria (or another) thanks to the uranium mine. Just speculating here, b
