True, but if I just search for 'saison', all the results are for the beer style.

Kind of funny that Google silently substitutes "season" for "saison" which is where the first result comes from.

"Nasty" seems like an understatement, and it wasn't like they were hiding behind anonymity. So I have little sympathy in that case. You say terrible things on a twitter account in your name, directed at someone else, it mig

Very smart of them to release a gold version. If watches are all about fashion, and people want a gold-colored watch because they like how it looks, they probably can't afford it from Apple. It may be seen as a copy by some, but a $50

Mirasol doesn't seem to have been adopted very much, outside of the Qualcomm Toq watch. I wonder if it's not very impressive in person, or pricey.

That gold one with a red band is a bit reminiscent of another smart watch coming out soon. (And plenty of existing non smart watches, of course.)

I see the Berkshire Hathaway website as being perfectly aimed at the kind of person who goes looking for the Berkshire Hathaway website. It looks frugal and old fashioned, which is exactly the image BH wants to project to their investors.

The main benefit is that we are cooking new things a lot more often. Three times a week, from scratch. You get pretty good at small dicing onions, I'll tell you that. Before, it was maybe cooking one time a week from a real recipe, p

There are a few services now that deliver a box of ingredients and recipes for $60 or so a week for three meals. Plated, HelloFresh, BlueApron. They really helped us actually cook more, instead of talking about it. It still takes time (3

It's a true statement though. OS X users avoided malware by there not being malware, not by being smarter or being protected.

Part of the problem is that a lot of legitimate freeware / open source software is not signed. I assume because people don't want to pay the $100 a year just to support OS X. So people get used to installing unsigned software, a

The amount of snow is only half the story. It's also been very cold, way below freezing, so the snow is just not melting. If you get a foot on Wednesday and a foot on Friday, but it melts in between, that is much easier to deal with.

Does Apple release HTML features updates to Safari in between OS releases? It feels like they freeze the features in July at WWDC, so they would be pretty out of date by February.

Right, that is a definite feature of some fares. They allow a free stopover at their hub if you want. Given that, almost all fares allow a 23 hour connection without it having to be programmed into the fare. And I didn't mean it was

All sorts of fun games on ITA. Another good one is to set very long connection times, to get a 23 hour stopover in an interesting city for free.
