Hope they can Sprint's mid-band spectrum deployed quickly to deal with this influx of data.... at least until they have a viable millimeter wave plan. This is probably more viable in suburban, maybe sub suburban/rural areas until

That's not quite right. What the anti-noise does is generate an inverse wave to cancel out some (as much as possible) of the waveform of the noise. It's not just playing white noise louder than the external noise. The result is

For rural coverage, fiber builds are _very_ expensive. For cities, you're right - 5G + high frequency wavelengths is probably cheaper - but not by that much assuming SpaceX's numbers are accurate. The problem is 85% of the populat

Except that some percentage of their investment is at a $47B valuation. They already bought quite a bit of early investors/employees of positions who cashed out happily. I think this really is about loss mitigation than anything else.

I think you're making a lot of assumptions here. First off, these constellations will (in theory) have fewer tradeoffs vs terrestrial networks. At only 350-800 miles up, they are much lower latency than current satellite based Internet

That's very much not true. I've received many fake items - where if I didn't already own the product AND box and could compare side by side, I'd never know. Even then, until it doesn't work right, you wouldn't

I got a vacuum sealer and happily buy steaks and freeze a few. Costco often as Prime beef that's ~$18/Lb. Whole Foods for USDA Prime is often $30+.

I would bet you're right - even just doing sauce/cheese/pepperoni is probably 70% of pizzas though. And you can throw fresh toppings on top of that as a manual last step in 30 seconds before it goes in the oven. Still seems k

It would be interesting to compare Carnival to the actual freight/crude vessels. I have to imagine that all of that dwarfs carnival by a wide, wide margin. But with flags of convenience, this is actually a semi-tough battle to fight, a

Why would you need to do this? The constellation still needs downlinks - and the downlink nearest the physical location of the user should always be where that traffic pops back onto the Internet.
