I live in Argentina. I want to add that we don't invest in dollars, we save in dollars. We don't expect to have more money after some time, we just expect not to loose money by inflation. Although it might seem that buying dollars

I currently use serverhub.com I doesn't have a S3 like service but they offer a VPS with 500GB and 1TB of transfer for $5. I have an orphaned plan of 125Gb of storage for $15/year. Super recommended.

I was chosen to use the preview and the pricing was originally was $0.02 storage and $0.01 transfer without the first $5. I guess that most of the people spent a lot less than $5. Increasing the minimum spend to 5 should give them a great p

Not an UI but I love pgcli ( https://github.com/dbcli/pgcli ), it's like psql but 10 times better. It works pretty well

I think there is something even worse than walled gardens and those are the closed platforms apple, Google and Amazon are creating. One thing is creating websites where they control the content users can see. But the web is still "open

As a linux user I use, Resilio Sync (formely Bittorrent Sync) with a VPS on serverhub.com . I pay $15 a year per 125 GB. It might not be as good as dropbox but the price worth it. I can even store the files encrypted. (I am not affiliated w

4 - Semi-senior. I love programming, but sadly at my work is hard to do a good job. Management is always requiring fast solutions, doing meetings frequently and expecting to use JIRA as if it was the solution for every problem. Keeping that

The closest thing I can think you can use is Gitlab CI and use your own runner in Scaleway. But I dont know an specific service for that.

Nice. It keeps getting better with each release. Speed seems to have improved. The only place where github is better is in the UX. Gitlab is ugly on a small laptop screen, in issues view it has three top bars that becomes really annoying. I
