The Ellisons already control way too many media outlets and have started instituting censorship on TikTok. They are aggressively Zionist and I think it's bad for our nation (and the world) to have a pro-Israel media empire feeding pr

Thank you for saying this. I totally agree with the OPs comment, but the use of anarchism is off. In fact collectivist anarchism is likely to improve the situation and at least, in theory, produce less predatory entities. https://

There are cultures where dying isn't feared like it is in Christian based societies. It's considered a natural progression and part of nature. I'd also say people may want more life for themselves, but what does that mean at

I don't think agents are append only. At the end of the day, you're just presenting context to the LLM. That context can be pruned and compacted (and is). There's no guarantee that an iteration of an agent loop contains all p

Yeah, I totally agree. I'm sure these open models are more than good enough for non-dev work. I'm also sure they'll be good enough for dev work soon enough (and some people are saying the latest already are). My point was tha

I'd love to! For real coding though, SOTA models barely get the job done. It wasn't until Opus 4.5 that you could really get decent results. I'm sure this will change (and I can't wait for it!) but as of today, open mo

Some of us care about the ethics of those we work with. Being a Zionist is also a brand risk. Just look at Vercel when their CEO met with Netanyahu. Many people canceled their accounts and now will never use Vercel. Mainly I don't wa

This is not standard. Normally founders and employees get common stock and investors get preferred stock. Founders may get more stock issued in a round, and VCs/founders can pretty much rework the cap table to their liking if they real

That is interesting, I've never been able to get it to successfully complete big tasks to any level of quality. For me the Anthropic models are by far the best at that, but the newer OpenAI models are starting to approach that quality.
