More efficient for sure, but it would be very convenient, and could drive acceptance of EVs. As a bonus, you don‘t need to allocate space to charging stations.

Inefficient use of copper, too. But inductive charging in parking grounds could have some potential, especially if cars could put the receiver on the ground while parkcharging.

Sure. But that is not in LAIONs responsibility. They provide URIs to images and the corresponding alt texts.

Arguably, a short alt text does not meet the threshold of originality under most jurisdictions. See https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Threshold_of_originality

Working with a computer is the underlying problem here. If a special mouse reduces tension, nothing wrong with that. Also you cannot know how often and intensely the parent poster exercises already.

You already nailed it. Use the three prong plug. If you don’t, stray voltages can occur on the metal casing of your device. I also learned that some usb-c cables connect ground to your device (via the charger) and some don‘t. It‘s not as un

Maybe embrittlement is the wrong terminus but nevertheless molecular hydrogen poses risks to steel-made components of methane infrastructure. See for example [1]. There is also funded research at Fraunhofer [2]. [1] https://www.t

And the hydrogen will still diffuse into the steel. And make it brittle so all bottles, pipelines etc have a limited lifespan compared to infrastructure for methane. And you always need pumps to get it from one containment into another bec

99% in a lab, if you are very good. 90% IRL (on industrial scale) is my educated guess given that you have losses in the whole reduction network and diminishing returns in the extraction process.

Even if you can do it on scale and with a very high recovery rate of 90%, after 7 cycles half of the lithium is gone. Given the massive environmental effects of the mining and the relatively scarce reserves we need to allocate the metal ve

Driving overland will not recover much breaking energy. That is only an advantage of EVs under town traffic conditions, where cheap efficient public transportation is the better solution.

gitlab and github both provide a program that runs on your raspi and executes the ci pipeline. Search for ‘runner‘. As a solo developer, you can even install the runner on your laptop. It will only be needed while you’re connected to the ne

Yeah you could even use recent ssh clients if you leave gitea, which is written in go, out of the equation: https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/issues/17798
