Sunset Over Imdahl is one of the best RPGMaker games, in my opinion. Despite being short, it has a solid story. It also does an amazing job breaking away from the traditional tile-based look of all the other RPGMaker games.

I'm assuming there will be some sort of 3d construct that you can manipulate with the mouse. The 3d effect isn't like the Nintendo 3ds, it's more like Apple's parallax effect on their homescreen.

That would make sense, especially with all the truecrypted drives in evidence lockers and whatnot - in other words, things that can't be properly upgraded.

You would have to also engineer an evolutionary advantage - something that would make them likelier to survive in the wild than their non-engineered counterparts. Building in a 'kill switch' by its very nature gives engineered bac

Regarding #6: please cite your sources on Mir being postponed indefinitely. I can't find anything except that it's now scheduled for 16.04. Furthermore, Ubuntu mobile will have Mir as part of its stack, so I can't see why the

Everyone's already covered how this is absolutely wrong, but I wanted to add that a second query is not appropriate, either. You'd want your query to be something like SELECT password_hash = {password_hash} AS authenticated FROM a

It's been around even before 2009(the date of this article). Back in 2007 Jeff Atwood posted pretty much the same thing [1]. [1] http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/2007/10/a-visual-explanatio...

Check your local craigslist, check your local pawn shops. Make sure you know what you want, and how to haggle. Everyone asks for too much, but there should be a flood of used laptops on the market since it's in between semesters. Other

That's a tired point to make, especially since it's not relevant anymore. Ubuntu ditched the brown a while back, and the orange definitely makes it stand out compared to its competitors.

I'm sure it has to do with a perception of 'sunk cost.' Everyone there knows PHP. They've developed tons of PHP libraries. They've set up their servers to run PHP. They have probably also ported some of the more com

Yeah, I posted Veekun's thing. Low overhead for deployment and ubiquitous availability are definite advantages for the beginning of a project. Unfortunately, those two advantages disappear when your site becomes successful. For a large user

I wouldn't want to go back to programming PHP due to its many issues[1]. I especially wouldn't want to work somewhere that spends development energy on BobX[2] to make PHP easier to work with. That means I have to use two technologies that

I don't think the author is talking about the spacebar being disabled entirely, at least that hasn't been my experience. What I've observed is that the space bar fails to act as a complete page-down - it only moves the page by lines.

LinkedIn also keeps track of what profiles you've viewed, and uses that to guess people you've known. I believe it may also build a potential connections list based on the IP address as well.
