I tried leechblock as well and it works well, but I ended up getting around it too easy. Setting up a barrier at the network level worked better for my brain.

Agreed on dark mode! It looks good with dark reader though. [0] [0] https://darkreader.org/

I dig the site. I have heard before that Pomodoro is a trademark that's enforced, but I'm not a lawyer and don't understand what that really means. [0] [1] [0] https://medium.com/@vojto/you-cant-name-a-tra

I did two things recently cause I've wasted just about half my life on reddit: - Blocked reddit at a dns level across my entire network via pihole (I run a personal vlan so the rest of the house network wasn't affected). - Disable

Not OP, but I've been tinkering with the idea of having a raspberry pi w/ an ext hdd stashed at a friends or parents place and do something like an rsync over wireguard for super important stuff.

You're welcome! By function I was thinking more of a filter to show only "reverb" pedals, or only "delay" pedals, so you can compare specific pedals that do only specific functions. I think stacks belonging to famou

For tough to digest content, having a physical medium makes it much easier to comprehend for me. There's something about being able to write all over it that maybe helps. I really hope e-readers get to the point as mentioned towards th

This is cool! It seems catered to musicians who already know a lot about pedals. I play guitar but own zero pedals but want some. This website would be a lot more useful to a beginner like me if I could sort by function. or, and this would

I played about 3/4ths of bandit. I'm curious your play style: do you google specifically the problem (NOT the literal bandit problem ("bandit24 solution"), but the general solution needed, i.e., "how to recursivly d

I was just looking at this yesterday, actually! Thank for sharing. It looks very promising. I think my main issue is my only hypervisor right now is unraid, and I'm a bit hesitant to open ports on my firewall directly to a VM on unraid

I've been attempting on and off the last few years to spin up a non federated matrix server in my homelab to make an alternative to discord for my friends. I run into some various issues every time. I'm pretty good at tech, but fo

I put my work computer on it's own vlan this week, no rules to talk to anything else in the network. I keep the laptop closed so the camera doesn't catch anything ether. Really just peace of mind things. I wouldn't be surpris

Fun read, thanks. I've always wondered how to securely do such a thing and cloudfare tunnel looks like a good solution. Of course the next thing you gotta solve is that you're running 3 HA clusters, but on one host. Can you replic

It's best to read this interview in Ron Swanson's voice. It was often speculated that Swartzwelder was the inspiration for Swanson in Parks and Rec, but Michael Schur denied it. Though, Greg Daniels was the one who worked with Swa

I just tested the demo and I am incredibly impressed by the matrix server it was able to build in seconds. I mainly self host to 'learn', so I can't see myself transitioning to Cloudron, but I'm glad it exists.

I've never heard of wire but it looks good, aside from the pricing. I'm hoping the future is a migration to a protocol such as Matrix, rather than users endlessly hoping from one product to another until they get sold out. https:

This seems like a great idea for a niche group of people. My initial recommendation is making the time limited option free. Currently the end user has to donate 1 dollar no matter what, right? For every individual password?
