This post would be so much more useful if it had a list of the questions asked, what the wrong answers given were, and an explanation of why the answers were wrong, along with links to the information needed to come up with the right answer

It'd be hard to have worked with Linux for over 20 years at this point since the first public Linux release happened just under 20 years ago (September 1991). And even in the post, there are more factual errors... Ctrl+D doesn't ask a progr

I would love to know how much money Sony threw at securing the PS3, considering how they made a similar error.

I think you seriously overestimate the competence of the “professionals” doing the typesetting on ebooks. Most of the ones I've paid for are shockingly awful. This includes ebooks like the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings, Ender's Game, or

> There is insufficient data to make a call either way. The author mentions this, but as I pointed out in other comments on this thread his agenda was clearly to push one hypothesis. I think that's actually Taube's main point - the data

I'm withholding my final judgment until I can play with one in person, but honestly, I kind of see the original poster's point. If you have a Nexus One, what do you get by upgrading to the S? The Nexus One already has the 800×480 screen, th

This entire article reads like a tutorial about how to make poor decisions. I mean, if I want to eat a cake, and I know how to make a cake, I'm not going to pull up a recipe for brownies and try to make a cake out of them. This guy made som

I've updated the page so that it works properly in IE9, at least (all I had to do was add the <!doctype html> header at the beginning, and that seems to be good practice anyway, so I have no issue with it). I have no way to test IE7

Assault and battery are not some vague ideas that you can argue the meanings of. They have clear legal definitions - if you threaten someone and make physical contact with them without their permission, you are guilty of assault and battery

It's definitely a CPU hog. I'm not really an expert at debugging javascript performance issues, but if anybody has some suggestions on how to make it more efficient, I'm all ears.
