Agreed. I think an interesting expose of this is Drew Houston's YC application where I believe he says he'd be okay with selling for $1M at that time (about a year's worth of work). I'm sure he had buyouts for $10M short

Does this one have an advantage over Wurstmeister's Kafka Dockerfile[0] or did you just make it for the experience? Either way, good job! It looks great. [0] https://github.com/wurstmeister/kafka-docker

Have you considered Discourse? It isn't a true Q/A platform like Stack Overflow or Quora, but if you treat the initial post a question and the replies as answers it works. Also, this guy claims to have written a plugin that gives

I've seen lawsuits funded on GoFundMe. In particular Adam Carolla raised a lot of money to fight a patent troll. I don't know much About trial processes, but I was curious what would happen if the defense wins. Does the other side

I'm surprised there hasn't been much speculation regarding an Apple TV announcement. It's been about a year since Tim Cook stated 'TV is something we are incredibly interested in' - Apple has sold over 13MM Apple TV

I really do not mean for this to be offensive, but I understand how it can be (and I almost expect it to be interpreted that way) but I feel obligated to tell you this. Your excuse is pretty weak. You've "tried meeting technical founders an

I think this an interesting point. I feel like the ASP.NET Web Forms stack got a bad name because it so closely coupled a web application framework with proprietary, abstracted, controls (which I agree was bad). But an empty MVC4 applicatio

There are technicalities you can (and will) skip on as you run your first company (pg has a good article touching on this, btw), but basic incorporation is not one of them. Incorporating shouldn't take you more than a week and $200, and tha
