I don't think I've ever gotten close to the advertised battery life from any new laptop, Mac or Windows, but I probably use a lot of apps and settings that aren't battery friendly (e.g., I prefer a brighter than average displ

From the perspective of a search engine's end user, Google should find those product pages and set them at the top of the results whether Panasonic's SEO is good or not, otherwise I'm going to switch to a search engine that c

About a year ago, my Youtube front page feed was pretty good. Then it has slowly degraded since then. I went from Youtube being the service I used the most to watch stuff to becoming much less interested. Most of my recommendations don'

Youtube 12 months ago was less bad without me having to do anything. Youtube can make me do work to improve my experience, but I do have another option, stop using Youtube's front page and just discover stuff via Reddit or search engin

Generally speaking, I treat coworkers "like a customer". I try to be respectful, polite and professional. My work can speak for itself. If that's not enough, then so be it, because I don't have time for other people'

I tend to think search results could benefit from a little bit of curation. For example, when I search anything HTML, CSS or Javascript related, W3Schools manages to be the top link in many of the cases. While W3Schools is fine, I guess...

I don't know what one needs to be protected from. If your coworkers are harasssing you for not being political, that's usually the point where you escalate the issue. If that doesn't get you anywhere, that's a signal to

Man, this is triggering more memories of programming in Basic. I remember writing programs in BASIC (as a kid/teen, mind you) where I didn't plan enough for changes and had to renumber swaths of code to allow more functionality. I

I find the "it's 2020" statement strange in more than one way. Yeah, ebooks are higher tech than paper, but I find the experience to be worse than paper. I have no problem reading long-form content on a screen, but I'd r

It is definitely GPU + heat related, but disabling the GPU is an unacceptable solution. People paid top dollar for a Macbook Pro with a fast GPU, you don't tell them to write off the premium they paid for that feature by disabling it.
