I always wondered how the global offices looked for these big charity organizations. With $500M, I imagine they have offices in those urban corporate office skyscrapers and Silicon Valley tech company styled HQs.

None of these changes really affect Google, since users typically use their services every day. It's almost like Apple is helping Google get more powerful. It's the smaller ad networks and exchanges that will suffer a lot.

Maybe you don't have trust in the people that run the current government, just like a good portion of the American population do.

You got it right. Tensorflow is HUGE in the AI community, Facebook and Microsoft are scared. I, for one, am a huge fan of Tensorflow and don't plan on learning anything new to do the work I'm already doing. Facebook and Microsoft

Lol. Not that surprised since Stripe's backend is basically still Ruby on Rails. Probably a Ruby engineer that wrote the article, writing Python for the first time in a while.

You seem to be the missing the whole point of AMP's popularity. The glorious sliding carousel on Google.com that gives any news website a massive SEO boost. AMP is the biggest thing to hit the SEO industry in a while. I imagine most of

Is it that you don't want self driving cars to happen or you don't THINK it will happen? I, for one, am super excited for self driving personal vehicles and will be glad to see the eradication of mass public transportation like tr

Nope. Flat design for iOS was Apple's best move. iOS 7 was what made iOS amazing. I have no clue what you're talking about. Full credit to Jony Ive, some of the UI design I've seen.

This is targeted at the enterprise like the product name says. $50/device for a huge corporation this product is for is just a dot on the balance sheet. For Google, charging consumers for products is just a fraction of the money they m

Of course they release this late on a Friday so it is does not get much reach. Facebook is very very evil - in every part of the company. Copying other's ideas (Snapchat) yet trying to stop other companies from copying them (this licen

We started our sales automation SaaS product a couple years ago when the market was relatively young. Today it is super saturated. Would not advise people to get into this market, we just got super lucky and got big.

Most android apps force you to give them the permission to get your location at any time, when installing the app. Heck, I am sure if you're using iOS there are apps getting your location all the time too. Kinda pointless to stop a sim

Good catch, mtmail. It is pretty obvious OP is going to still content again for his personal gain. No one should reply to this thread as it encourages theft from js7745.

This is pretty genius. Back at college, the regular USPS office looked like an Amazon branded post office. Almost all boxes had the distinct blue tape with the Amazon Prime logo. College students, though broke, love to impulse buy. Amazing

Biggest outlier is Uber, and they aren't even a Techstars company. They just invested in their seed round, never was part of the accelerator that is Techstars. YC probably comes out on top if you just remove Uber.
