The value I get from just stealing media is unbeatable. I can use the money I save on subscriptions to see a show and buy merch, which means the bands I like actually get paid. Win-win.

Thank you for saying this so I don’t look insane, ahaha

Seems pretty clear to me that they’re looking for a shorter form than what a podcast normally provides.

Were in-video ads put there by the entity that you're paying? I don't see in-video ads, but I don't watch "content creators" with sponsors.

Knowing I wouldn't have to work if I just held on to it... It does sting. But I had to get a car to get to work back then. So there's not much to be mad about.

I agree that everyone has to work to have something to give in exchange for what they get from others. I don't agree that the struggles poor people face in our current economic system source from this truth. I need you to tell me with

I sold a bunch of BTC for $1 and bought a car with it. I used to regret that, the most expensive Ford Escort ever purchased. But now I feel like I dodged a bullet, I could have been one of those zealots that spent all day every day thinking

You'd be surprised at how easily otherwise intelligent people can get swept up into violent ideologies. Bobby Fischer is just one example of a bright mind corrupted by ideology. There are countless.

This is an interesting thought. It seems like in many cultures, bringing someone in to cancel unnecessary features would be admitting defeat. At least, to the PM. I wonder why it's okay to do that with a song but not software. Weird cu

This sort of sentiment usually comes from someone that can't help but argue about politics in an area for, say, houseplants. Sorry, but I don't want to discuss Grundrisse in a hobby subreddit. I don't want nazis yelling at me
