I hear Netflix also has a very high pressure culture and if people cant cope up, they are given a generous severance and asked to leave. is this right? how long can a person survive in such environments?

i had the same experience with two different roads in chicago area where it would avoid a simple overpass on 55, instead advising to take exit, go around in a longer route and come back to 55. Only in the east / North bound direction.

Long ago, Dell initially had plans to develop their own version of Linux, hired a bunch of Linux developers. Most of them are still there and things like DKMS came out from that team. But Dell will never ever have their own customized OS an

you are right. the windows laptops are competitively priced but seem to lack a lot in terms of battery life and overall longevity, which is sad. razr blade seems good but is as expensive as mbp, if not more. guess i will have to either wait
