Hopefully they go a hybrid approach. 256gb next to the package and expandable slots up to 2TB.

`ripgrep` is my favorite of the "new" linux utilities, it makes searching for a single string across all of my cloned repos extremely easy, and especially for diving into multiple versions of vendored dependencies.

Vitess maybe? from what I have demoed and for being open source that’s the one I would choose. Unfortunately there isn’t a Postgres compatible one that is as mature yet and certainly not free.

With the ACCA being designed in 5 months and flown in 20 months from the go-ahead, I would say 5 years is definitely possible. I wouldn't be surprised if its got a heavy use of composites as well, in order to reduce he number of total

For tools and other items that you might get from Home Depot, Project Farm is pretty much the standard now in my book. https://www.youtube.com/c/projectfarm

You could use something like the cockroachdb free tier, its pretty close in Postgres in syntax, with some minor differences.

Honestly how steam balances historical reviews versus recent ones is what helps the most to see a trajectory of where a game has come from and where it is now. See No Man’s Sky (from launch to now)

I'm curious how this would be implemented to only detect alcohol impairment, wouldn't it be technically easier to check for impairment of any kind, including drowsiness? And I am really interested how they would sort through false

I'm running a 1080Ti I picked up used in early 2020 and threw on a kraken g12 with an AIO, it dropped temps down to a max of 61c and increased FPS on most games by 30%.

A week or so ago 3090s were going for < $1000, which is a steal if you need the memory for ML or other intensive apps.

They should just do Thunderbolt 3 on the iPhone 15 and rename it the iPhone T1 (thunderbolt/titanium etc). With the way cameras are going and the use of iPad external docks, it would be a pretty great ultimate mobile device.

I'm still a little surprised I can't easily get chip-only credit cards that have no magnetic strip on the rear, but rather have a backup card that has a strip, and use chip/tap for everything else.

It looks great, is there a way to reduce the margins on the left and the right? Right now the padding is taking up about 40% of the usable space. Where on the normal HN the padding is about 15%

I too am unable to do this, there isn't a comment box for top level comments. EDIT: I would expect a comment block to be before the "${count} Comments" tag.

The only time I have recently used delivery is if I am sick and unable to go pick up the takeout. Otherwise it's too expensive and a $15 plate turns into a $29 total cost. I'll still get pizza delivered though from some places.
