   Still has text-based install and no working mouse upon first boot without hacking config files (tried in VMware and VirtualBox). Definitely STILL not for desktop / casual consumption.

   As a .NET developer, I can tell you there's some definite 'eww, you use microsoft' stigma here.

   Oh I agree that he mentions it in his article, but everything he says is good about his library is already done (better, I might add) by Web API.

   I think this guy has never heard of Web API ( http://www.asp.net/web-api ). He's saying MVC is bad, then he writes code that just returns serialized data instead of views.... which is exactly what Web API does.

   Have you considered running your own Mumble server? AES crypted voice and text chat on your own server.
