I had this same experience. Had Notepad++, tried Atom and Brackets, uninstalled Atom and Brackets.

I don't suppose you have the source for that up on github or anything do you? It sounds interesting.

It scares me when I see a SAAS thing with no pricing page. Anyone have an idea of what this costs?

Since the death of TrueCrypt, I've been using VeraCrypt ( https://veracrypt.codeplex.com/ ). It's cross-platform FOSS instead of the "Hey, buy now!" BestCrypt that this article is pushing.

Love uBlock Origin. I upgraded from Ad Block Plus to uBlock (and finally uBlock Origin) and was amazed at how much faster it is.

If you're on Windows, consider upgrading to WinSCP ( http://winscp.net/eng/docs/free_sftp_client_for_windows ). Not only is it a nicer UI and updated more often, but they have direct downloads with no crapware

There's acting shitty, then there's acting illegally. This may be the later. That said, you're unlikely to get very many people on HN to admit that post Steve Jobs Apple acts shitty. There are still a lot of people here dri

Apple security really is the laughing stock of the info security world these days. First the SMS of doom that could crash any iOS or Mac device, now this. Seriously though, thanks for the fappening!

Sadly, watching a post Steve Jobs WWDC is basically just watching Google I/O from 2-3 years prior. For example the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 launched with splitscreen multi-tasking in October 2012. All of the Sammy stuff since then has ha

Yep. If firefox and IE together dip below 20% or so, we'll see more and more of the horrible "This site only works in Chrome".

What exactly can you do from your (presumably since it's HN) Mac that you can't do from Windows that's preventing you from switching now?

Oh neat, bubble.is is apparently a WYSIWYG no-code thing that the "developer" of this site says is going to replace software engineers. Yeah, that worked out great for FrontPage didn't it?

Cool project! Can't wait to see a pure .NET client with OpenGL down the road. I don't install Java on anything anymore (mostly due to all the security issues) so I haven't played Minecraft in years.

I'm not familiar with dosemu. How does it compare to dosbox, or just installing dos on VirtualBox / etc? Also, it appears to be 6 months since the last release of dosemu2. Is it already abandoned?
