Thanks for the quick reply. That's what I was afraid of. I know Excel for Mac's macro functionality is pretty sparse compared to the Windows version. I think this is cool - just not worth running a VM all the time. Best of luck. H

In my experience, the best browser plugins are not cross-browser so I would highly suggest you look at something specialized for something like Chrome or Firefox. Last time I had to deal with SOAP I just used a Ruby (my programming language

I sort of agree. I'd much rather see tools to help business users/analysts traverse more complex types of data structures such as NoSQL DBs

I've looked for something like this before too.. I dont think it exists. Sometimes companies will get notified by USPS that your mail was forwarded and automatically change your address in their records or at least remind you to do so.

Yup, Dulles is definitely less costly than on-Metro living. If you go with VA, check out http://www.cit.org/ .

I moved to NoVA for more space and ended up paying more than I was in DC but I wasn't looking for the cheapest place possible. Anywhere on the outskirts of the Metro will be less expensive than downtown. If you plan on having a car, th

Amazon RDS has a free tier if you qualify. I really like Heroku's Postgres service which is free to an extent and then very reasonable for varying levels of production-ness.

@naf - as a soon-to-be graduate (though I'm not looking for a job), this sounds like an interesting idea but I would suggest measuring traction/interest by, instead of building a whole new site where employers post jobs, use exist
