I am really confused. I thought snapchap "turned down" the money because they wanted to see next quarter's numbers before opening a conversation about an acquisition. They didn't say "no we're not selling"

If they're replaceable, the later. That's why technical people get a lot of time off and "soft skill" people get less time off. Not saying it is right, but that's how companies look at it. Also, business owners don&

Both fair points. I guess fb just offers enough value for me that I don't mind the tracking stuff. I definitely agree it is a scumbag move to track people without their knowledge but I think it is just too easy to educate yourself abou

I am surprised how many nos there are. To all the people that don't have an account (I'm serious): why don't you? It seems like something that you can easily regulate. I have a super small number of friends. Almost no picture

As a total aside, how do sites like Quantcast and Alexa get traffic information from other websites that they don't have code on? (or do they?) I feel like getting accurate traffic statistics on one's own website is tough enough.

I'm a big fan of the double tap to zoom. The browser figures out the zoom level you want with surprising accuracy and if it is wrong, or you want something specific you can always fall back to pinch zoom. I'm sure I'll adjust

Is "founder liquidity" exactly like what it sounds? Does that money go right into the founders' personal bank accounts?

Ideally both, but if I had to sacrifice code quality for a successful product I would sort in exponential time if it meant getting a working product out the door faster. It doesn't need to be good, just good enough. (IMO obviously)

Check withdraw limits. You might have $10k+ on an account like BTC-e and have to withdraw it over several days. If you keep arbitraging you will have more and more money in an exchange that is risky (BTC-e isn't trusted because it is w

Are we even sure it is one person? I've heard the algorithms and techniques used make it probable that more than one person was behind this. I would have no idea where to begin searching so anyone's guess is a good as mine.

To be honest I think the bottom is going to be around $500. Pretty much everyone I know who is even the slightest bit interested in bitcoin is waiting for this crash to happen so they can jump in. Just a guess though.

As I mentioned in another comment, everything I said was speculation based on playing in high school and college. I don't have any strong evidence to back up my claims. That said, I'm skeptical of the numbers in the article you li
