> You might fear that people will start arriving at 1:07pm, but I have seen the opposite. They respect the new time. They arrive by 1:05pm, ready to work. We do the :05 thing and this is exactly what happens every meeting: all of them en

What are good Firefox alternatives these days that will run a proper uBlock origin (not chrome’s watered down manifest v3 version)?

Maybe this is a lever that they now have to finally break free of their total dependence on Google. Get someone like Meta to pay them to be the default AI model / interface.

Serious question: does this thing actually make games run really great? Or are they so optimized for AI/ML workloads that they either don’t work or run normal video games poorly? Also: > I arrived at a farmhouse in a small forest… W

Valve is the only company I'd let inject anti-cheat software directly into my veins if it meant I could play CS and be sure others were not cheating haha.

I think the simple answer is you can't do this with most people. Bootcamps have tried for a while and mostly failed.

McKinsey and other consulting companies aren't really paid to consult so much as they are paid scapegoats. Management just needs someone to blame if something goes wrong. LLMs won't really ever replace them.

Serious questions: won't banks and ratings agencies simply treat this as Meta's debt since it it effectively Meta's debt? What changes if this was on their "official balance sheet"? How does playing with the wording

To me this basically says roughly 10% of all internet advertising revenue is from scams. I’d bet Google has a much higher number than 10%, since they do more volume.

Meta's last earnings absolutely ripped, their stock jumped 11%, and somehow the stock's P/E ratio went down. I honestly think the market sleeps on Meta. I guess they really hate them investing so much in wearables/AI

I mean technically stock trading platforms can ban you if you trade too well. Usually happens with options, not buy and hold positions. Retail trading platforms need users that are statistically no different than random to sell their order

Could all the large centralized mining pools (ghash and the like) plus exchanges like coinbase and binance blacklist or burn the 184B BTC? Didn't ethereum do something similar to revere a $600M "hack" a while ago?
