They aren’t doing it from the goodness of their hearts.

American companies/privilege benefit from the US being the hegemonic imperialist power of the world while screwing over the Global South. Domestic America has arguably never created a company like MS either.

Microsoft will survive even if they never fire another person for years.

Long ago capitalism and then neoliberalism infected our brains. There’s no rational reason why any of these promises were made in the first place while still having people without health care or a home.

Or it’s a reaction to others laying off and not rational at all.

Capitalism is a failure. Everyone should be entitled to money.

I use my phone for stuff. I don’t want to kill the battery and it’s usage as a webcam all day. Maybe that’s just me though, I’m in Zoom meetings all day.

How do you know this stuff? My old 2014 MacBook Pro has the battery swelling up. I can’t afford more than a few hundred to fix everything. It’s a 2nd comp I use for a remote coworking Zoom session all day. I could have the same problems. I’

I vouched for them. I looked at their profile and didn't see any reason for a shadow ban.

by skinnymuch 4y ago
Are all their comments being downvoted? I was referring to all their recent comments. I vouched for them too.

You’re shadow banned fyi. I didn’t see anything too wrong with your comments so not sure why you are. Thanks for the quote and link.

Why would you want power centralized? Big corporations are never your friend.

Western capitalism and imperialism has destroyed and killed so many lives. On par with anything China has done except in much higher quantity. Look at the Kurds, Afghanistan, Yugoslavia, Iraq, Iran, Korea, Vietnam, Yemen, Palestine, Egypt,

Right so she’s not a leftist as your evidence points out. Every single thing she wrote is so cringe when you say it’s coming from a leftist. It isn’t if you understand socialism and communism. Like how Tim Pool and his sycophants say he’s a

What? Obsessing over men being men and worrying about made up gender norms is the most childish binary way of thinking.

Seems like for profit private corporations are the problem. Not the idea.

Hahaha that’s true.

Franklin would probably be offended like you with your example. Classic lib take. (A) You incorrectly insulted leftists. (B) You used Franklin, a huge liberal (like yourself), to make your point. Franklin knows jack shit about politics. (C)

This sounds…unhinged, homophobic, and like black pilled toxic masculinity. Stuff like: > GenX men are largely codependent and needy owing to pressure to be "sensitive," > being largely raised in broken homes, > so their i

You can't be (a) a socialist and (b) not believe trans people are the gender they identify with It goes against the essence of socialism and communism. I know who TERF non-socialist Meghan Murphy is. You can see here that she is not a
